Certificate Program “International Tax Specialist”

Course Introduction

KIMEP’s College of Continuing Education jointly with the Central Asian Tax Research Center is preparing a series of executive courses leading to a certificate “International Tax Specialist”. The series includes 3 courses, gradually developing participant’s theoretical and practical knowledge related to international taxation:

1. Introduction to International Taxation
2. International Tax Planning
3. International Tax Compliance

ADIT

There is an option to link this series of courses to the first examination of internationally recognized – Advanced Diploma in International Taxation – the date for the first exam is June 2011. Candidate interested into this option will be able to take additional course – focused solely on exam preparation.

Target Audience

This program is ideal training and career advancement opportunity for both domestic and foreign professional community, especially to: Financial Directors, Tax Managers, Chief Accountants, Investment Managers, Auditors, Tax Advisors, In-house Counsels, Lawyers and Investment Bankers.

Course Delivery

These courses are offered in an executive course format, with classes limited to 10-15 students to allow and assure intensive interaction and in-class discussion, allowing each student to receive personal attention of the instructor and tailored tuition fitting individual needs.

Lead Instructor

The series of courses is conducted by Prof. JUDr. Tomas Balco, LL.M., ACCA, an associate professor at KIMEP, who is also the founding director of the Central Asian Tax Research Center and is spearheading the introduction of tax specialization at KIMEP. Prof. Balco is internationally recognized tax specialist with over 11 years of practical experience in both private and public sectors.
